The municipality of Allons (166 inhabitants), nestled in a valley with limited public transport options, is taking a major step towards more inclusive and sustainable mobility with the introduction of a 100% electric carsharing service, operated by Clem’.
💡 A concrete solution to meet residents’ needsGiven the distance from public services and shops, the Allons Municipality, in collaboration with the CCAS, launched this project to provide an accessible transport solution, especially for those facing financial difficulties.
The objectives of this initiative are multiple:
✅ Facilitating mobility with a shared electric car available at an affordable rate via an online platform.
✅ Strengthening local cooperation by encouraging carpooling and mutual assistance among residents.
✅ Supporting the energy transition by offering an alternative to individual petrol and diesel vehicles.
🎯 A project supported by key stakeholdersThis initiative was made possible thanks to support from the State (Green Fund), the Verdon Regional Natural Park ("Biodiversity and Rural Amenities 2024"), and self-financing by the municipality.
